In this video, we are taking a look at Citadelum on the Steam Deck. Citadelum is a city-building game set in Ancient Rome, where you construct and manage your own Roman empire. The game offers deep strategy with a historical theme, perfect for fans of city builders who love Roman architecture and urban planning.

On the Steam Deck, Citadelum runs at around 30-40 FPS, but if you limit the FPS to 30 and set the TDP to 10W, it becomes stable and offers about 2 hours and 15 minutes of battery life. It's a great way to play a city-building game on the go while maintaining a good balance of performance and battery life.

The late 90s was high-time for the 'hardware sampler' revolution. Ushering in a new era of hi-fi quality hardware, breaking time constraints and possessing the ability to store huge amounts of data with various storage technologies. Many still use the MPC2000XL to this day.. and with this lovely sounding 16bit / 44.1kHz stereo sampling engine.. it's not hard to understand why, right Kanye?! 😏

In this second episode, I run you through the process of 'Sampling' (aka recording, capturing, digitizing audio) into the 2000XL.. if you need to get reacquainted with yours.. or.. ..if you're thinking of getting one.. then watching this series should give you a good idea of how to knock a beat out of the ball park on one of these puppies ⚾️ 🐶
